The Florida Panthers have come a long way in the past two years, mostly due to their goaltending. Sergei Bobrovsky has been amazing throughout his career and he was tremendous in the semi final match, beating his friend NY Ranger Artemi Panerin. Matthew Tkachuk has been a key player in their success. The Panthers acquired him in a trade with the Calgary Flames. His style of playing greatly benefited them. Panthers are returning to the Stanley Cup Finals for the second year in a row and are hoping for this year to be different. Last year they lost to the Las Vegas Knights in four games. Since entering the league in 1993, they have never won the Cup.
The Edmonton Oilers have come so far since they drafted Connor McDavid in 2015. They have a great history, winning the Stanley Cup five times (1984-90) with Wayne Gretzky and Mark Messier and are looking to start a new dynasty. They might not have the best goalie but they have amazing players who can change the game. Leon Draisaitl, McDavid and Zach Hyman can dominate. The last time they were in the finals was 2006 when they lost in seven to the Carolina Hurricanes.
