Team Building Day was also Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Day! To kickoff the day, EMHS students visited our 9th period classes and did team building exercises with us. They first asked everyone what character is and what is good character. Then they asked us to display that in a game to make the tallest tower using index cards. We participated in many exercises that day. For example, we brainstormed some vocabulary words such as versatile, harmonious, compassion, traditional, competent, knowledgeable, and conceptual, just to name a few! Then we took a survey about what color represented us. The color options were orange (these were doers and they were fun people who enjoyed freedom). The color blue represented students who were feelers and their strengths were empathy and they valued the little things in life. Gold was for those who are planners and their strengths were organization and they valued honesty and loyalty. Last but not least, was green. The students who got green were thinkers and their strengths were creativity and understanding their values, facts and data. We also played Woodland Hot Seat where we had to guess a word and we could only give hints. Mrs. Trigg even came up to play! (She got the question right on the second hint!) Finally, during 8th period we had to write a word but with strings attached to the marker! As you can imagine it was very hard and there was chaos in every room! Then we played hot seat once again! Overall today was a great Team Building activity for everybody and there were so many laughs! So Woodland had a GREAT DAY!!!
