When I was born, I came home from the hospital in a New York Rangers onesie. I’ve been a fan ever since. My father and I love watching NYR games during hockey season. This year, the Rangers won the President’s Trophy clinching the NHL’s best record for regular season play. They also clinched a spot in the playoffs. The Rangers easily swept the Washington Capitals in the first round. They currently have the task of trying to defeat the Carolina Hurricanes in round two. Carolina finished second to the Rangers in the Metropolitan Division. The battle of these two teams is thrilling to watch. During game two, they went into double overtime. The hero was Vincent Trocheck of the NYR!!If the Rangers keep playing this way, they have a great shot to win the Stanley Cup.
