I’ve never liked watching sporting events like hockey or football but the World Cup is definitely the best one yet. Unfortunately I go to more baseball games than soccer games because that’s just how my family is, but when I do go to soccer games I enjoy them a lot. I really wish I could go to the World Cup but the tickets themselves are expensive and they’re in different parts of the world so the plane tickets would be expensive too.

Brazil is the most successful nation in FIFA World Cup history, holding a record five titles and remaining the only country to have played in every tournament since its inception in 1930. Brazil has won the World Cup five times, followed by Germany and Italy with four each. The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be held across Canada, Mexico, and the United States from June 11 to July 19, 2026. Here are some fun facts about different countries during the World Cup. Mexico holds the record for the most total losses in World Cup history which is 27. Indonesia holds the record for playing the fewest matches, having appeared in only one match in 1938.  One day I hope to go watch the World Cup.
